I'm naming this tee after my trip to Camp Perry, Ohio. This tee was started on the day we left for the trip. This is another free pattern from Ravelry called the Leaf Tee. I LOVE this pattern.
It is so easy to follow. Only 1 lace repeat and the rest is simple stockinette stitches. This was done on a size 6 needle using a DK weight yarn. I used 5 skeins of Elann Sinota.
I pretty much followed the pattern. It was the right size for me. I finished with 3 rows of ribbing as suggested to keep the bottom from curling. I also added 1 row of sc around the neckline using a size D hook.
I really love how this top turned out. It's a great fit and I love the lace on it. The pattern was so simple to follow, I didn't need any help with trying to decifer the directions! Now I can concentrate on my current project which is the Hey, Teach cardigan (bella is on hold again). I hope to get it completed before the ravelympic which starts on August 7th. So my goal will be to finish the cardigan by then. I'm really looking forward to the ravelympics. I have a new friend which I will be making the modular vest with. It's so exciting!

your leaf tee looks great! i saw that pattern on ravelry and considered making it one day after i finish rusted root and green gable...btw were the sleeves hard to do on this pattern?...i haven't finished rusted root yet due to the sleeves
Thank you. Changed the photo! Sleeves were super easy. It's part of the initial CO. When you get to the desired size of the sleeve, you just bind off. Which is great, no extra steps! It's a great tee and I highly recommend it!
oh, so it's like the sleeves on juliet! i'm working on green gable now and i'm afraid i'll eventually run into the same problem as rusted root...not knowing how to do sleeves using 2 circulars
Hello crochetgurl. I only use the initial set of needles. After the initial cast on, I did increases for the sleeves. When it was big enough, I just bind off. Then I continue working the front and back of the sweater. I think with the Juliet you had to use another set of needles. This one was super easy.
That leaf tee looks beautiful on you. Wow! I can't believe what a great top that is on you.
BTW, goes Ravelempics start August 7th or 8th? I thought it was Friday the 8th. I'm hurrying to try to complete a shawl before then.
